Led by Paul Brandt,#NotInMyCity (NIMC) is a powerful movement dedicated to raising awareness and taking collective action to prevent and end human trafficking and sexual exploitation of youth, specifically girls under the age of 18. We build community alliances to support, facilitate and advocate for the development and mobilization of a strategic, integrated plan to bring about systemic and transformational sustainable change at the grassroots, practice, policy and legislative levels. We find and fill gaps to end exploitation and human trafficking in Canada with a specific focus on youth.

Our purpose is to find and fill gaps to end exploitation and humantrafficking, specifically among young girls in Canada. Humantrafficking is one of the fastest growing crimes in Canada, but remains largely invisible. Governments, law enforcement, parents,front-line workers and individuals are often unaware of this crime and the signs of it.
