#NotInMyCity - Addressing the Unique Needs of Vulnerable Groups

Working with socially or economically disadvantaged populations, with a focus on Indigenous Peoples, to identify and action priorities that will reduce risk and improve access to resources.

INDIGENOUS OUTREACH

#NotInMyCity will be initiating an Indigenous Outreach program dedicated to:

• Facilitating and supporting processes to identify Indigenous children and youth who are high risk of becoming sexually exploited.
• Supporting a co-ordinated and timely response with service providers when Indigenous children and youth are in danger or at risk.
• Adapting education and awareness materials to reflect the Indigenous context, culture, and language.
• Developing integration with the Community Response Model for Indigenous communities.

Funding will provide a gap analysis and operational support.
